Education
I graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa, in 2015 with my Elementary Education degree. My educational experience allowed me to have interaction with both private and public school settings. The strong point of my education was experiencing first hand this diversity. I have been able to use my teaching license to be both a substitute teacher as well as a personal tutor to six students.
Experience
I have tutored for over a year and I have loved being able to provide specialized instruction for students. My students have ranged from 3rd grade to 7th grade in subjects varying from math to reading. Seeing students succeed and grow is why I love tutoring. I have worked with students with learning disabilities one on one in the public school district and am always reading to keep up to date with how to best help children learn. I like to keep learning fun as well as interactive so that they get the most out of the time together. All of my working experience has included working with individuals whether on a retail, educational, or professional level. I enjoy working with people and having them feel successful in what they do. One of my strong characteristics as a person includes being friendly and working well with others. Currently, I work as a Paraprofessional at an elementary in Libertyville which allows me to be familiar with what the students are currently studying. I am working with students on daily assignments and am aware of daily coursework.

I love baking, doing craft projects, listening to music, and just having fun. My personality is upbeat and encouraging and I want each student to have success! Education has been a huge part of my life and I want students to know that learning can be enjoyable.
