Following high school, I attended film school at the University of Southern California, where I earned my bachelor's degree. I went on to earn my master's degree in Communication and Culture. I have found my niche as a writer for a number of websites, and I also work as an instructor for a class on public speaking. I developed a love of tutoring early in my life, and I have created my own style of tutoring, which involves engaging with my students as in a good conversation, and working together towards solving problems and learning concepts. I'm available to tutor in a diverse array of subjects, but of course writing is the one closest to my heart. I am able to instruct students in writing, not by telling them "change this or that," but by talking with them about writing principles, structures, and generally accepted practices, and allowing my student to edit their own work with these tools in tow. When necessary, I will work with a student at the level of particular grammar or syntax issues. I also tutor in all the basic school subjects, and can work with students in IB classes. I also assist students in preparing for standardized tests, such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, and others.
