I graduated from the University of Tennessee, where I earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Hispanic Studies and the in Spanish language. While I was partaking in my undergraduate studies, I also completed coursework necessary to pre-med studies. Now, I am on the path to becoming a doctor. As a tutor, I have a lot of experience with teens and adults. Subjects I have taught include mathematics, science, and Spanish. I also taught GED concepts through a community program, for a time. I am knowledgeable in the area of nutrition, after having minored in the subject and writing a thesis about it.Not only do I have a passion for science, I also really enjoy teaching Spanish. I have studied in various Latin American countries, where I have lived among the natives and worked as an interpreter at a hospital. When I taught GED preparation skills, my students were all Spanish speakers who would be taking the exam in that language. I can help anyone with their reading and grammar skills. I like to incorporate examples into the things I teach, so that students may have better comprehension of the subject matter.When I am not working, I am a musician and I volunteer with interpreting.
