Experience
I volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters where I mentored a first grader named Riley. I helped her with homework and did other fun activities once her homework was done. My overall score on the ACT was a 28, and I did particularly well in the Grammar and Reading sections. I would like to become a tutor to help students excel in their academic goals. I love helping people, and want to be a counselor when I graduate, so I think tutoring will help with this. In high school, I took AP Psychology and made a 5 on the AP exam, which allowed me to skip Intro to Psychology at CBU. I've taken two Honors English classes, as well as many psychology classes. I'm also in Psi/Chi, the Psychology Honors Society.
