I attended the University of Memphis for my bachelor's degree in liberal studies, and then went on to Christian Brothers University to earn my masters degree in education. I've also studied at Florida A&M University and Tennessee State University. I've been teaching math for the past 12 years. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to focus on students and their specific learning difficulties in math. I like to help students overcome these obstacles and embrace math as a topic they enjoy. I want my students to become confident in their abilities so they can apply their math knowledge and study skills throughout their lives. When I have spare time, I enjoy practicing tae kwon do, playing the piano and organ, reading, and watching movies and television.
